PSD TYPES
Platform screen door systems are divided into 3 types according to their height.
- Half-Height
- Full-Height
- Closed Full-Height
HALF-HEIGHT PSD
It is generally applied in street tram or rail system stations where thermal comfort does not come to the fore.
- Application at heights between 100 cm ~ 170 cm
- Application in open stations, tunnel stations and viaduct stations
- Easy assembly on ready platform floor
- Possibility of natural air circulation
- Increased platform usable capacity
- Less need for station staff
FULL-HEIGHT PSD
- Application at heights between 170cm~230cm
- Application in open stations, tunnel stations and viaduct stations
- Increased passenger safety
- Low risk of accident and suicide
- Efficiency increase in ventilation system
- Ventilation system low energy consumption
- Increased platform usable capacity
- Potential advertising area
CLOSED FULL-HEIGHT PSD
- Closing up to the ceiling (230 cm~)
- It is generally used in subway lines where thermal comfort and exposure to metal dust coming from the rail line come to the fore.
